The other day at UBC, I visited the Reconciliation Pole. It is so majestic, against the dramatic sky. One minute the clouds looked grey, but then the cleared. I love this pole, mostly because there's an eagle on top. And eagles always remind me of my Pa.

Brianna’s 19th Birthday
My niece Brianna turned 19 yesterday! We went to the Cactus Club for some dinner. I am having A LOT of fun, as you can see. We bought her a bunch of drinks. I did a pickle back shot with her. I like them! She did NOT like it, lol. Welcome to adulthood, Bri!
Almond flour pancakes
The other day at bulk barn, me and my sister found some almond flour. She had a specific recipe in mind, but I just got a bit to try out. I made some almond flour pancakes, they were pretty good! Then again, maybe it was the maple syrup and chocolate chips...
