More Isle of Skye!

A common sight and sound in Scotland: bagpipes!

I loved all our glimpses into Highland life. The small building with the red door is a crofter’s house. You can see the larger, newer one they built right beside it.

We visited a little community hall that advertised events and had a little grocery story beside it. Just like in the Hamish Macbeth books, by MC Beaton. I read the entire series before I came on this trip.
