London

Today we fly from Nice to London.

We have a 22 hour layover there. 

It was a shock to go from sunny Nice to rainy London!

We didn’t use our rain coats at all on this trip, but we were glad we packed them. 

We took the train in to have dinner and a drink with our friend Peter.

We did a show with Peter about 11 years ago, and haven’t seen him in about 8 years!

It was WONDERFUL to catch up with him. and look, we’re all in stripes!

This is the hotel we stayed at, at Gatwick Airport. 

It was just a room really, no windows. A comfy place to stay and very convenient, since it was right in the airport. 

It was nice to be back in London, even if it was for a hot second. 

In the morning we had a full English breakfast!

And really coffee!

And then, onwards to home!
