Our second day in Paris featured the Louvre! But that deserves it’s own separate post.
L’arc de Triumph.
But first, breakfast. Which was confusing. It’s usually bread of the day, with jam, and a croissant, and an espresso and orange juice. It’s a lot of food! We got one the next day and split it.
Then we decided to brave the Paris metro line.
And made our way to the centre of Paris.
The Luxor Obelisk:
Place de la Concorde:
Us outside, it was very bright!
Triton, loungin’.
Our walk through the gardens, toward the Louvre.
The glass pyramid!
I am so happy in this pic, I’ve been anticipating this moment for so long – the Louvre! Check out the next post for detailed pictured.
After our Louvre adventure, we went back to the hotel to rest, then met up with our dear friend Sable.
She moved to Paris a few years ago, fell in love with a Frenchman, got married, and now they own and run a restaurant/bar called Barracuda.
Great food, wine, desserts, and company!
And very cool decor.
And at the end of the night, we took our first Uber ride. It was a really great day.
