I have a friend of a friend, who is expecting a little girl this summer! She asked if I could make something up, here’s what I came up with. I had the flannel blanket with the mermaid print on it for some time, just waiting in my craft closet to become something lovely. I used my rotary punch thingy to make holes, then crocheted a scalloped trim around it. Then I crocheted a matching mermaid. It turned out so cute, I hope the little one loves it!
