My hubs and a couple of his friends have been working on writing a musical about Kay Thompson. She is best known for having written the “Eloise” books, but she is so much more than that – a truly fascinating woman. They did a full run of their show in 2021, and now they’re working on the next version. We did a short workshop last week, and incorporated a few more characters as well as musicians. This was the only photo I got of the process. But we were also reunited with our friend Collette, who has moved to San Fran for an exciting job. It’s nice to start off the new year collaborating with talented friends.
