We got a big batch of snow yesterday, which means today is a snow day! Well, not really. We’re all working from home and I’m feeling very happy that I can do so. I took these shots of campus just before I left for the day, around 2pm. I’m glad me and my staff all made it home safe. I’ve heard stories of people taking 5, 6, even 11 hours to get home! The roads were so clogged, transit was a mess – our city is really not built for snow.
I’m grateful to be able to work from home, but I logged on a full 2 hours earlier than I normally do. UBC has cancelled morning classes, so I had to do some damage control. Now I am enjoying being out of the snow, with a hot coffee and warm socks on.
