Bridal tea

My sister got married last Saturday! And last week we hosted a bridal tea for her. My other sis made little succulent arrangements in teacups, as giveaways. I hope I manage to keep mine alive.

We went to Secret Garden Tea in Kerrisdale. They have renovated since my last visit, and it was nice and bright and lovely in there.

Just LOOk at this delicious spread! This shows three servings of their Autumn tea.

The real highlight was our server, who went above and beyond. She was so friendly, took our pictures, and was truly wonderful. I wish I got her name.

We had this little game where you had to guess how many kisses were in the jar. I am GOOD at this game and have won many in the past. I got the EXACT number – 44! Ha, I win!!

I really love afternoon tea. I should go more often. My tea of choice, if you’re wondering, was lavender earl grey.

Our group shot, with the bride Annabelle in the middle, in the long pink tunic. It was a great afternoon!
