Some Books

Here are some books I have read recently. And my “read,” I mean, “listened to.” I love listening to audio books and the bonus is that I get to craft at the same time.

This is the book I took with me on my cruise. It was an interesting premise, based on a true story. But I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would. It went from sad, to more sad.

I really loved “Where the Crawdads Sing”! It was well-written, had an interesting story line, and I’m still trying to find someone else who’s read it, so I can discuss the ending with them!

This is a book of short stories by Tom Hanks. Yes, THAT Tom Hanks! It was quite good, and he narrates it too.

I enjoed “Next Year In Havana.” I heard about it through Reese Witherspoon’s book club. I learned a lot about Cuban politics, and I liked how the plot jumped between time periods.

I LOVED this book! I thought it was gripping, from beginning to end. Just fascinating. And the conclusion was SO satisfying
