In the show, we feature a free-standing X pole! We have a dancer/actress, Sari, who spins and dances on it. She also scampers up and down the pole in between scenes, to place these different toppers on it. Our set designer Chris made them – aren’t they cool? There’s a gas light, to signify the streets of New York; a “Hot Box” sign, to denote the interior of a dance club; and a palm tree and coconuts, for when the leads travel to Havana, Cuba. I just love them!
