Remember this big guy? Well I unravelled him.
I found some big ass needles at Michaels. These are size 50, and are still smaller than the recommended size 70!
I cast on a few more stitches to make the blanket wider. I did 24 in total. Then I did knit 1, knit 1, purl 1 throughout, so it had a bit of a ribbed pattern. That made it nice and stretchy. I was finally happy with it.
