I have started rehearsals for my next show, Jesus Christ Superstar. I did this show with URP back in 2004, and they are revisiting it now. And guess what, this was their first ever production back in 1993. My husband was in it – he was only 17 at the time! (He was not my husband back then.)
They have a very small cast this time and have done some gender-switching. I’m playing Pontius Pilate! It’s been great fun to delve into his mind and journey. I’m also filling in with lots of ensemble bits, so it’s been a workout, all that dancing. The show only runs for a week in November, I’m excited to share it.
