I never knew I needed these in my life. But they have become so useful!They're bowl cozies. You can put them in the microwave and save your fingers from the heat. I use this pattern and have made many for family and friends. I'll make more for Christmas. They're very handy!
Hello winter!
It is all of a sudden SO cold in YVR! In fact, it snowed a bit earlier this week. We have skipped over autumn and gone straight to winter.

Scorpio Season
November is birthday month! We celebrated on the weekend. There are three scorpios in my family - so that means three cakes. Getting older really is better when there's cake to soften the blow.
Gratitude
I follow an account on Instagram called Positively Present. It's really great, has words of encouragement with cute graphics and drawings. I'm doing this gratitude challenge but privately: I won't post it anywhere, just find something each day to be grateful for.
