Last week, on Nov. 16, we celebrated my niece Leyna's 9th birthday. One more year and she's going to be double-digits! She's a sweet, sweet girl - and a fellow Scorpio.

This weekend I went over to Chemainus to see my husband in Little Women. It was gorgeous out. The captain announced that there was a whale on the port side! Autumn is for tea-drinking, if you ask me! I got this set of chai tea from my sister in law. Four flavours of yummy chai.
Family birthdays
I celebrated my birthday (again) this weekend, along with my sister's birthday. I put together this dessert plate. I was very proud of those chocolate-dipped strawberries. My family descended en masse into my little apartment, bearing food, food, and more food.
