I have been doing this gig on and off for 8 years - the Roving Cannery Mermaids! We sing and rove around the Richmond Maritime Festival, which was last Saturday and Sunday. It's a great event, very family-friendly and free. The people are always so nice, so we mermaids have a lot of fun.

Sometimes my family stops at Nat Bailey stadium to check out the fireworks. It's the perfect end to these hot summer days.
