Birthday top
Oh boy, I have branched out to sewing for other people! Well baby steps, anyways. I made another Ashton Top for my sis' bday present, this time with butterfly sleeves. The top is so flattering and it sews up nice and quick!

Birthday Family Time
We had some family time this weekend, celebrating my sis Tine's birthday. We caught an Earl's happy hour and had a big seafood platter - but Tine couldn't have any, she's allergic! Back to her place to celebrate with gifts and TWO cakes.
Anniversary
I celebrated an anniversary today: one year in my new position at UBC. Time has really flown by! To celebrate, we went out to have Ernest's Ice Cream on the weekend. Even better, our friend Jen was working and she gave us a great deal: FREE! Happy days, indeed.
