I helped out another unit at UBC with a project, and got a little thank you card and gift. It's basil! I will plant it and hope that it grows! I'm not very good at gardening or growing things, so fingers crossed that I'll have some lovely basil soon!

Ma in the Philippines
My mom is quite the jet-setter these days. She went on a pilgrimage last fall to the Holy Land. And now she's in the Philippines for the month, visiting family and friends. Here she is with her sister, my auntie Rebecca. Maybe someday I will visit too.
