Yarn

Yesterday I posted about the book I’m listening to, “Y is for Yesterday.” But in my world, Y is also for YARN.

I got an amazing deal on this lot of Cascade 220 sport yarn.

12 skeins for $43!! The woman who I bought it from was looking for a similar colour, this one didn’t quite match the shade that she wanted. So she sold it to me in order to buy the right hue.

I spent some time making yarn cakes with my trusty winder. I don’t have the carousel thing (yet!) so it’s fast, but not as fast as it could be.

I switched to winding by hand while watching TV.

No matter, they’re all ready to be made into something wonderful!
